The aptly named Electric Blue is available on both models for an extra $625, alongside other fresh shades like Blaze Orange and Infrared – but this is our favorite of the bunch. Two cars as electrifying as the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing deserve a bold new paint job to match.
BLUE AND SILVER PAINT SERIES
Although this purple paint is a $550 extra, the 2 Series coupe is the only BMW (currently) that offers it. BMW: Thundernight MetallicĪlthough BMW's Individual paint program offers a vast selection of unique paints, you won't have to put in a special request to get a 2 Series Coupe with the new Thundernight Metallic. We actually got a chance to check out this shade firsthand at BMW Welt in Germany, and it's just as eye-catching in person as in these images. This love-it-or-hate Mint Green exterior is part of BMW's massive portfolio of Individual paint options.

The arrival of Purple Sector on the first prototype for public testing was exactly what the Batur needed to help it stand out even more. But a car this dramatically styled needs a paint job that's just as dramatic. The Bentley Batur was shown in Monterey with a subtle satin finish. It pairs with a Brilliant Black roof exclusively as part of the Design Edition trim available on both models, joined by 21-inch wheels and a few blacked-out accents. A 2 hour design consultation will give you direction, ideas and resources that will make a huge difference in the results that you get.For the 2023 Audi S6 and S7, the company introduced a sharp new hue: Arrow Gray. If you’re in the Greater Raleigh, NC area and would like a serious shot of help to get jump-started on your next home project (or pick your paint colors), take a look at my Services page. Matte finishes are okay and low lustre to eggshell are my favorites on walls, gloss finish on trim. Most of us need to clean off a mark every now and then on our walls, so go for a finish that lets you do that (which is not flat). It’s easy to touch up, but hard to keep clean. And if you think you have to, remember that it will probably take an extra coat to make the cheapest paint look good.Īnd I DON’T Like a flat finish. Look at your swatches during the day, at dusk and at night. Holding it flat in your hand will never show the color correctly, unless you’re painting the floor!Īlways buy a small amount of the color(s) with potential, take them home and paint a couple swatches- 2 coats please. Remember that if you’re using this on a ceiling it will go a tiny bit darker/grayer.ĪLWAYS hold the paint swatch in the direction that it will be used. If you want an undertone of a color in your white, like a little pink or blue, just go to the fandeck or paint store and find the lightest shade of that color. There - that wasn’t so hard, was it? Here’s a few more tips: In this post most of my favorites just happen to be from Sherwin. That’s the best I can explain it!Īnd this is another one that you don’t want to confuse with Ben Moore’s Alabaster. It will still read as white, but not quite a traditional style white. It has the slightest (and I mean the slightest) gray undertone and looks fabulous in transitional or modern homes. If you want to tone down that white just a smidge, I’d go with Sherwin’s Alabaster.
